So I’m Mercedes.

To sum me up quickly, I am married to my best friend, I have two babies and I work full time. I’m lucky enough to love my day job, but it keeps me quite busy. The thought of using my spare time to sit down and figure out all this blogger thing has felt more of a silly dream than anything else. Unthinkable until today. I’ll spare you the “life is so busy!” chat for now – I’m sure there will be plenty of that later. The reality is that motherhood is simultaneously the hardest and most profoundly beautiful episode in my life and I want to document it in some way.
